01 · Where the story begins
A voice before a venture.
William Dokpesi’s story begins in the world of Nigerian broadcasting. The son of Raymond Dokpesi, he encountered an industry built around reaching people: their homes, their conversations and their ambitions. He would carry that connection between an audience and an opportunity into his own businesses.
The Sun’s December 2023 profile describes his early work on Kiddies Radio, studio responsibilities at RayPower FM and appearances in AIT dramas. These experiences put him close to production and performance before commerce became the centre of his entrepreneurial work.
The Sun · Early broadcasting ↗02 · Education & curiosity
Several disciplines. One entrepreneurial direction.
His formal education began at Tade Primary School and continued at Dansol High School. Higher education took him to the University of Mines and Technology in Ghana, where he studied Mineral Engineering, and then to the American University of Nigeria, where he earned a BA in Economics.
He later completed an MSc in Investment and Finance at the University of Bedfordshire, London. Engineering, economics and postgraduate study form a broad educational foundation for someone whose work spans products, platforms and organisations.
Education was also a setting for enterprise. Newspaper coverage places the William Dokpesi Store at AUN: an early online-retail venture developed while he was a student. The same reporting recalls campus entertainment initiatives bringing together comedy and music. Business and creative work were already meeting in his journey.
The Sun · Campus enterprise ↗03 · Online retail & teleshopping
Turning attention into a marketplace.
William’s move from online retail to teleshopping gave his entrepreneurial work a distinctive direction. MoneyMart Multimedia Service Ltd and MoneyMart TV brought broadcasting and shopping into the same experience. A television audience could become a market for products, with manufacturers gaining another way to reach customers.
THISDAY’s December 2023 profile describes MoneyMart TV as Nigeria’s first teleshopping channel and highlights its connection with local manufacturers and African products. That reported milestone is central to William’s story: using a familiar medium to introduce a different way of doing business.
The progression from a student store to a television marketplace shows a recurring interest in the route between a business and its customers. William confirms that MoneyMart will continue its operations. Its place in his portfolio is an ongoing chapter.

A wider platform for building.
RubyNav Inc. extends that entrepreneurial story into technology. Its current company website presents a portfolio of six brands, bringing together commerce, family safety, service coordination, future care, media software and beverages. The breadth of the portfolio makes technology part of William’s wider business identity.
RubyNav is the marketplace brand. Zahara focuses on family safety. CleanSyn addresses cleaning coordination, while Legacora focuses on future care and end-of-life planning. Noora IPTV is a media-player product for authorised content. Ruby FoodHub adds a consumer-products business to this family of ventures.
Together, these brands demonstrate a portfolio approach: several businesses addressing different everyday needs. Their individual websites provide the clearest account of their current products and services.

Its retail and wholesale offering connects a consumer brand with both individual buyers and business partners.
For William’s portfolio, this is another expression of enterprise: a tangible product, a distinct brand and a route to market. It sits alongside digital commerce while giving his work a presence in the consumer-goods industry.

Building carries responsibility.
William’s business involvement also includes corporate leadership. Reporting connects him with DAAR Investment & Holding, part of the corporate history surrounding Nigerian broadcasting. His wider directorship portfolio includes Innovative Strategy International, Dopsy Investment Holdings Inc., Mail Dopsy Inc. and Raymond Dokpesi Legacy Foundation, as confirmed by William.
Official UK records document historical director and secretary appointments in 2011 at Innovative Strategy International UK Limited and Innovative Investment Strategy Limited. Those companies were subsequently dissolved; their records remain part of his international business history.
Mail Dopsy Inc. brings music and entertainment into the portfolio. Published music releases carry the company’s credits, and Amazon Music lists Will Dokpesi as a featured artist on I Miss You. Alongside broadcasting, retail, technology, beverages and philanthropy, this creative involvement gives the story another dimension.
His professional experience also includes Community Health Choice in Houston. Business leadership and operating experience form complementary parts of a career whose public identity here is centred on entrepreneurship.

Ruby Heart Foundation is a dedicated part of William’s philanthropic work. Its published programmes span health, education, family economic security, child protection and housing support. These themes place care and opportunity alongside the commercial work in his portfolio.
The foundation’s public nonprofit filings provide a separate record of its organisational activity. They offer a way to understand the foundation through reported accounts, while its programme pages describe the causes it seeks to serve.
William also confirms his directorship in Raymond Dokpesi Legacy Foundation. That role connects his philanthropic journey with family legacy. Taken together, these foundations give giving its own place in his life’s work.

The next chapter is still being built.
In March 2024, AbujaPress’s Made in Abuja awards coverage listed William Dokpesi as the Innovative Person of the Year special-recognition recipient. His public professional profile also records a December 2023 Lifetime Achievement in Tele-Retail award from the Paparazi Star Awards.
These recognitions sit within a story that continues to develop. MoneyMart continues its operations. RubyNav Inc. presents an expanding range of business interests, and Ruby FoodHub offers products to consumers and retail partners. Philanthropy and directorships remain part of that wider picture.
Across the journey, the connection is enterprise: creating a store, connecting products with audiences, developing brands and taking responsibility within organisations. William Dokpesi’s story is the story of an entrepreneur whose work moves across industries—and whose next chapter is still taking shape.
